Novi Sad announces tender for Mišeluk heating plant construction
KP Novosadska toplana has issued a new tender for the design and construction of the Mišeluk heating plant in Novi Sad. The project is valued at approximately 892.5 million dinars (around 7.6 million euros) excluding VAT.
This follows a previous tender that was canceled in September after all submitted bids were deemed unacceptable. The new procurement includes the design and construction of the facility, while the procurement of a temporary boiler house has been separated into a distinct lot.
The project aims to develop a heat source with a total capacity of up to 30 MW, implemented in phases to align with the expansion of the district heating system in the Mišeluk area. The first phase includes the installation of a water-to-water heat pump, a 1 MW natural gas boiler unit, an accumulation reservoir, and hybrid photovoltaic-solar thermal (PVT) panels.
To ensure service for future users during the construction period, a temporary 1 MW containerized boiler house will be utilized for connections scheduled for 2027 and 2028.
