Novi Sad hosts international sports exhibition celebrating Serbia and Spain

Novi Sad Mayor Zarko Micin has officially opened the international exhibition ‘Olympism without Borders – Serbia and Spain’ at the Creative District. The event celebrates the shared sporting and Olympic heritage of the two nations, highlighting the athletes and professionals who have strengthened ties between Serbia and Spain through their careers.

Organized under the auspices of the City of Novi Sad in cooperation with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain in the Republic of Serbia, the exhibition is part of the ‘Novi Sad – European Capital of Sport 2026’ program. It also commemorates 110 years of diplomatic relations between Serbia and Spain. The exhibition focuses on the human stories of perseverance, respect, and fair play, showcasing how Serbian athletes have competed in Spain and how Spanish coaches and experts have contributed to Serbian clubs and national teams. The exhibition will remain open to the public for one month.
