Novi Sad hosts second International Flamenco Festival

The second International Flamenco Festival is being held in Novi Sad, organized by the dance association ‘La Familia’. The event features a variety of activities, including workshops for flamenco steps, flamenco palmas, and specialized sessions for children.

In addition to workshops, the association will present performances showcasing castanets, choreography from both youth and adult members, and authentic Spanish costumes. The evening program will take place at the Synagogue starting at 20:00, featuring headliner Montserrat Suarez and her duo performing authentic flamenco.

The festival is supported by the City of Novi Sad Administration for Culture, the Vojvodina Development Fund, and the Embassy of Spain, which is collaborating on a special project for World Flamenco Day. Admission to the program and workshops is free of charge.
