Novi Sad police arrest man for killing mother

In Novi Sad, a 21-year-old man, A. B., was arrested after allegedly killing his 57-year-old mother, Ljiljana B., in their apartment in the Grbavica neighborhood. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, following reports of loud shouting and screaming from neighbors.

Emergency services arrived to find the victim with multiple stab wounds; despite resuscitation efforts, she was pronounced dead. The suspect reportedly confessed to the crime at the scene and was taken into custody for a 48-hour detention period.
