Novi Sad proposes new tourism and sports complex in Sremska Kamenica

The City of Novi Sad has announced a public inspection of a draft decision to amend the General Regulation Plan for Sremska Kamenica. The proposed changes cover an area of 1.48 hectares located on the Danube bank, west of the planned bridge extension of Bulevar Evrope.

The plan envisions the development of a tourist-sports-recreational complex. Proposed facilities include indoor and outdoor sports fields, hotels with small accommodation capacities, ethno-centers, congress centers, and facilities for health and wine tourism. The development aims to integrate with the local environment, potentially including amenities such as swimming pools, amphitheaters, and horse stables, reflecting the fruit-growing and viticultural character of the Fruška Gora National Park zone.
