Novi teatar to open in Sarajevo with sold-out premiere of ‘Galeb’

The premiere of the play ‘Galeb’, based on the work of Anton Pavlovič Čehov, has sold out. The production, directed by Selma Spahić, will officially open the Novi teatar within the International Center for Games, Culture, Art and Youth (ICIKUM) in Novo Sarajevo on September 5.

The opening of this new theater scene aims to develop contemporary theatrical language and create a space for exploring new scenic expressions. Following the premiere, additional performances are scheduled for September 7–12 and September 21–26 at 19:30. Tickets for these subsequent dates remain available through the karter.ba platform.
