Novi Vinodolski hosts summer cultural festivals

On August 8, Novi Vinodolski opened the fourth edition of the Snovi Vinodolski festival at the Obala kneza Branimira promenade. The evening combined Mediterranean street food, craft beer from Drivenik Brewery, a fashion show featuring Croatian designers, and live music by the band Top of the Pops and DJ Boris. A children’s workshop let young participants design paper outfits, while various creative stalls offered handmade goods and photo booths.

Later in the week, the town’s Narodna čitaonica and library presented the seventh Fabrijevo štavljenje štiva, a literary festival honoring writer Nedjeljko Fabrija. Held in the atrium of Srićina kuća, the program included lectures, concerts and theatrical pieces, with professor Dubravka Dubravec Labaš speaking on Fabrija’s novels and their imagological themes. The event continues a tradition of gathering scholars, musicians and artists to celebrate Fabrija’s contribution to Croatian culture.
