Novig implements responsible trading framework for regulated prediction markets

Novig, operating through its Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) designated contract market Ludlow Exchange, LLC, has implemented a comprehensive responsible trading framework. The new standards are codified in Chapter 14 of the Ludlow Exchange rulebook.

The framework introduces several safeguards, most notably a nationwide minimum age requirement of 21 with identity verification. It also includes member controls such as deposit and loss limits, cooling-off periods, and self-exclusion options.

Beyond individual account controls, the framework establishes affirmative obligations for the exchange itself. These include responsible marketing standards, restrictions on loss-chasing incentives, requirements for contract reviews to ensure participant protection, and risk-based behavioral monitoring to intervene when trading patterns suggest potential harm.
