Novo Selo to host Autumn Market featuring traditional cuisine

The village of Novo Selo, located in the Kumanovo region, will host the ‘Autumn Market 2026’ on Sunday, October 25. Organized by the ‘Rural Uma Sto’ association from Umin Dol, the event is scheduled to take place at the ‘Superkiz’ pickle shop from 10:30 to 15:00.

The market aims to celebrate rural traditions, local production, and nature conservation. A primary gastronomic attraction will be the preparation of wedding cabbage, a traditional dish made by slow-cooking sauerkraut and meat, which is a staple in the local region.

In addition to food, the event includes educational workshops, such as a session for children and a composting workshop focused on reducing organic waste. The program will also feature a performance by the ‘SRMA’ children and youth folklore ensemble from Kumanovo.
