Novotel St Kilda opens after multi-million dollar redevelopment

The Novotel St Kilda has officially opened following a multi-million dollar redevelopment of the Fitzroy Street property in Melbourne. The project serves as the anchor hotel investment within the $196 million St Kilda Collective renewal, a collaborative effort involving ERDI, Fortis, Ondas, and the City of Port Phillip to improve the precinct.

The redesigned hotel features 80 rooms and suites, including single, double, family, and interconnecting configurations. New amenities include a fifth-floor rooftop with views of Port Phillip Bay and the Melbourne skyline, a garden atrium, a ballroom for up to 120 guests, and a boardroom.

Dining facilities include the new Urban Kitchen & Bar, which features a wood-fired oven imported from Verona and a wine list focused on Victorian producers. ERDI CEO Ricky Jeffs stated the transformation aims to create an experience connected to the character and lifestyle of the St Kilda neighborhood.
