NOVUS launches global Raw Material Compendium for animal feed formulation

NOVUS, a leader in intelligent nutrition, announced on July 23, 2026 the release of the NOVUS® Raw Material Compendium, a digital platform that consolidates global ingredient reference data for animal feed. The tool, accessible at www.novusint.com/rawmaterial/, allows nutritionists and formulators to assess ingredient variability, compare nutritional values across major databases and internal data, and explore alternative raw materials.

According to Dr. Marisol Castillo, executive manager for global swine solutions at NOVUS, the platform streamlines a process that typically requires consulting multiple separate sources. Users can select protein sources such as palm kernel meal, soybean meal, DDGS, feather meal, and fishmeal, compare values from references like the National Research Council, Association Française de Zootechnie, INRAE, FEDNA, CVB and Brazilian Tables for Poultry and Swine, and export graphs and tables for further analysis. The system also supports uploading users' own data sets.
