NOVUS secures double-digit million-dollar funding for global expansion

German mobility startup NOVUS has secured a double-digit million-dollar funding round led by Berlin-based venture capital firm 468 Capital. While the exact amount and company valuation were not disclosed, the investment includes participation from over 30 investors, including former executives from Tesla, Lucid Motors, and On.

The company intends to use the capital to drive three primary objectives: expanding its presence within European lifestyle metropolises, developing a more affordable second model known as the NOVUS Two, and preparing for a market entry into the United States scheduled for 2027.

NOVUS currently produces the NOVUS One, a vehicle categorized as a ‘Lightbike’ that combines the handling of an e-bike, the agility of a scooter, and the performance of a motorcycle. The vehicle is already in series production and is being delivered to customers across several European countries.
