Nowosądecki County launches free mobile mammography program

Women in the Nowosądecki County region can access free mammography screenings as part of a breast cancer prevention program funded by the National Health Fund (NFZ). During August, mobile mammography units (mammobuses) are scheduled to visit several towns in the Sądeczyna region.

The program is available to women aged 45 to 74. These screenings are provided at no cost and do not require a doctor's referral. Eligible women can undergo this examination once every two years to facilitate the early detection of cancerous changes.

Upcoming mobile clinic locations for August include Kamionka Wielka on August 20, Nawojowa on August 21, and both Chełmiec and Krynica-Zdrój on August 24. Registration can be completed via telephone or through the central e-registration system via the Patient's Internet Account.
