NOWPayments data reveals performance benchmarks for TRON, BNB Chain, and Solana

NOWPayments has released empirical data analyzing six months of enterprise payout activity to provide performance benchmarks across several major blockchains. The study compares TRON, BNB Smart Chain, Solana, Bitcoin, and Ethereum based on speed, transaction volume, and cost efficiency.

The data indicates that different networks serve distinct operational needs. Solana recorded the fastest average payout speed at 1 minute and 45 seconds. BNB Smart Chain handled the highest frequency of individual transactions, accounting for 48.23% of total payouts, though its share of total volume was lower at 21.75%.

In contrast, TRON led in total monetary volume, moving 43.69% of the analyzed payout volume. While TRON accounted for a smaller share of individual transactions (15.73%), its average payout was approximately 6.2 times larger than the average payout on BNB Smart Chain. Ethereum ranked third in volume at 18.84%, while Bitcoin and Solana represented 6.68% and 3.08% of volume, respectively.
