Nowy Sącz to host ecological picnic focused on asbestos safety

Nowy Sącz will host an ecological picnic titled ‘Healthy City, Safe Home, Future without Asbestos’ on Friday, September 25. The event will take place in the city market square from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

The primary focus of the gathering is to educate residents about the health risks associated with asbestos and the proper procedures for handling materials containing it. Experts will be available at an educational information booth to answer questions regarding property owner obligations, how to identify asbestos products, and why residents should not attempt to dismantle such materials themselves.

To engage families, the program includes workshops, quizzes, games, and competitions designed for children and youth. The event aims to combine practical environmental education with interactive activities, offering prizes and gifts to participants.
