Nowy Targ selects supervisor for sewage plant modernization

The Municipal Water and Sewage Works in Nowy Targ has signed a contract with ENVI KONSULTING s. c. to provide investor supervision for the modernization, expansion, and renovation of the city's sewage treatment plant. The contract is valued at nearly 4 million PLN and is scheduled to run until the end of 2029.

This project is part of a larger 120 million PLN investment, which includes the construction of a sanitary sewage network and pumping stations, partially funded by approximately 70 million PLN from European Funds via the FEnIKS program. The goal is to align the agglomeration's wastewater management with Polish and EU legal requirements. While a Rzeszów-based company has been selected to design and build the main engineering components for 114,355,560 PLN, local authorities in Nowy Targ, Szaflary, Biały Dunajec, and Poronin have yet to reach a final agreement regarding the division of remaining costs.
