NP Aerospace acquires Iten Defense and secures new vehicle cab order

NP Aerospace has completed its acquisition of U.S.-based Iten Defense from Edgewater Capital Partners and other minority shareholders. The deal, which received regulatory approval from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), allows NP Aerospace to establish a manufacturing presence in the U.S. through Iten Defense’s facility in Ashtabula, Ohio. Iten Defense will continue to operate under its own brand and leadership.

In a separate development, NP Aerospace announced a new order for protected vehicle cabs from an undisclosed customer. This latest contract brings the company’s total protected cab order book to over 60 units. The company provides end-to-end survivability systems, including armour integration and safety certification, for various vehicle classes such as military logistic trucks and EOD vehicles.
