NPB players Yamato Fuji, Anderson Espinoza, and Andres Machado removed from active rosters

Several NPB players have been removed from active rosters following recent performances and seasonal considerations.

The Saitama Seibu Lions removed pitcher Yamato Fuji from the active roster on September 28. Fuji, a 20-year-old left-hander, had made his professional first start the previous day against Rakuten, pitching 2.2 innings and allowing two runs. Due to the application of the NPB infectious disease exception, he may be re-registered in less than 10 days.

Meanwhile, the Orix Buffaloes removed pitchers Anderson Espinoza and Andres Machado from their active roster on September 27. Espinoza has been a key starter this season with 13 wins and a 2.71 ERA, while Machado has recorded 35 saves. Manager Mamoru Kishida stated the decision was made after discussions with the players, noting they had both performed exceptionally throughout the season.
