NPGM accepts ammunition production lines from Slovakia
Niewiadów Polska Grupa Militarna (NPGM) has completed the technical acceptance of production lines from the Slovakian company KONŠTRUKTA-Industry. These lines are intended for the elaboration of large-caliber ammunition, specifically 155 mm artillery, 120 mm tank, and 120 mm mortar shells.
The equipment is scheduled to be transported to the NPGM facility in Niewiadow, Poland, between late September and October. The company aims to reach production readiness by the end of the year. This development is part of an effort to increase Poland's domestic defense capabilities and secure European supply chains.
Additionally, NPGM has signed a contract with KONŠTRUKTA-Industry for a third technological line. This new line will focus on the elaboration of 120 mm mortar projectiles and 120 mm high-explosive (HE) projectiles using TNT. The contract includes equipment, software, technical documentation, and personnel training, with delivery expected within 11 months of the agreement.
