NPL NSW football results: Key victories in Men’s and Women’s leagues

The National Premier Leagues (NPL) NSW competition saw significant action across both the Men’s and Women’s divisions.

In the Men’s Round 28, St George City secured a 2-0 victory over Sydney FC with goals from Mason Tatafu and Solomon-Johnn Monahan-Vaiika, marking their fourth consecutive win and clean sheet. St George FC also achieved a vital 2-1 win against Western Sydney Wanderers to improve their survival prospects. Meanwhile, Sydney United 58 maintained their Premiership pursuit with a 2-1 comeback win against Sydney Olympic.

In the Women’s Round 24, the Western Sydney Wanderers earned their fourth straight win with a 1-0 victory over Sydney University, courtesy of a Nikkita Fazzari goal. UNSW also secured a 1-0 win against NWS Spirit via a 79th-minute strike from Ava Collins. Additionally, the Northern Tigers and Macarthur Rams played to a 1-1 draw after Lily McMahon converted a late penalty for the Tigers.
