NPO Komori no Hiroba Mominoki to host forum on inclusive childcare

The NPO Komori no Hiroba Mominoki will host the third installment of its continuous forum, ‘Barrier-free from Childhood,’ on November 29, 2026, in Yokohama. The event will focus on the concepts of ‘collaborative childcare’ and ‘mother-led childcare’ practiced at Mominoki-en.

Mominoki-en, which was established in 1998 by a group of mothers and a childcare worker to create an inclusive environment for children with and without disabilities, is scheduled to close in March 2027. The forum aims to preserve and share the institution's nearly 30 years of experience in fostering mutual growth between children, parents, and caregivers.
