NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman urges proper handovers
Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) known as COKA, has called on former constituency chairmen to conduct formal handovers to their successors. The directive aims to ensure administrative continuity, accountability, and the preservation of institutional memory within the party.
Speaking to a delegation of former chairmen, Appiah emphasized that outgoing leaders must provide comprehensive handover notes, account for all party assets, and document unresolved constituency matters. He noted that such transparency is essential as the party prepares its strategy for the 2028 general elections.
Appiah also pledged an inclusive administration, stating that the experience of former officers will be utilized to restructure the party’s grassroots base in the Ashanti Region. Proposed strategies include integrating former officials into advisory and campaign roles to strengthen communication and mobilization efforts.
