Nóra Ördög Joins 'Szombat esti láz' as Host After Dance Career
Former competitive dancer Nóra Ördög, who spent her youth winning titles and dancing with a long‑time partner (who was gay, so their relationship remained platonic), was invited to become a presenter on the Hungarian TV show Szombat esti láz. She initially thought the offer was a prank, reacting with disbelief before confirming the opportunity.
Ördög said the transition to television was eased by the confidence, stage presence and movement skills she gained from dance. She also mentioned the pressure of fitting into evening gowns designed by Náray Tamás, noting she had to lose weight in a week. After a two‑season run, the role became a defining milestone in her career.
