NRAI celebrates shooters honored with National Sports Awards

The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) has congratulated several shooters following the announcement of the National Sports Awards 2025 by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.

Akhil Sheoran, Dhanush Srikanth, and Rudransh Khandelwal have been honored with the Arjuna Award. Sheoran is a prominent rifle shooter in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions event and a member of the 2026 National Squad. Dhanush Srikanth, the world number one in the deaf category, previously won India’s first-ever shooting gold at the 25th Summer Deaflympics in Tokyo. Rudransh Khandelwal, a para-shooter in the SH1 pistol classification, has represented India at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games and various World Cups.

Additionally, Neha Nandkumar Chavan has been conferred the Dronacharya Award in recognition of her contributions as a coach in helping athletes achieve high-level competitive success.
