Nürburgring hosts EURO MOTO qualifying sessions

The EURO MOTO championship continues at the Nürburgring, with qualifying sessions determining the starting grids for several classes.

In the Superbike class, Twan Smits (Apreco-Yamaha) secured pole position with a time of 1:22.936, leading a front row that includes Lukas Tulovic (Triple M Ducati Frankfurt) in second and Marcel Schrötter (GERT56) in third.

In the Sportbike category, Ruben Bijman (Freudenberg RoRa Paligo Racing) took pole position on his Triumph Daytona 660, narrowly beating championship leader Stepan Zuda by 0.076 seconds.

Dirk Geiger, the current leader of the Superstock 1000 championship, also secured pole position for his Yamaha. He will start ahead of teammate Lennox Lehmann and title rival Daniel Blin, who occupies the third spot on the front row.

The weekend schedule includes multiple races across the Superbike, Sportbike, Bagger Racing European Cup, Pro Superstock 1000, Supersport, and Kawasaki ZX-6R Cup categories.
