NRCC reports record July year-to-date fundraising
The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) raised $7.9 million in July, bringing its year-to-date fundraising total to $90.6 million. This figure represents the highest amount raised by the committee at the July year-to-date mark in its history.
With more than $200 million raised for the current cycle, the NRCC currently holds $92.3 million on hand, which is $10 million more than its Democratic counterpart. The committee is working to protect a three-seat majority in the upcoming November election.
An NRCC analysis suggests a favorable battlefield for Republicans, noting that Democrats must win in areas where Donald Trump averaged 53% of the vote to secure the House. Speaker Mike Johnson has framed the election as a referendum on “common sense versus crazy.”
