Nördlingen to host commemorative walk for Gerd Müller

The city of Nördlingen, in collaboration with the Gerontopsychiatric Service of Diakonie Donau-Ries, will host a commemorative walk on Tuesday, November 3, to mark the 81st birthday of football legend Gerd Müller.

The free event begins at 2:00 PM at Gerd-Müller-Platz. Participants will visit several locations significant to Müller’s life and career, including his birthplace, his parental home, and his statue.

The walk will conclude at a senior center in Polizeigasse, where FC Bayern München will present its “Forever Number One” memory suitcase. Developed with experts, this tool uses images and memorabilia to support biographical work and provide shared memory moments for individuals living with dementia or Alzheimer’s and their relatives.
