Nürnberg 45 docudrama wins Blauer Panther Award

The docudrama ‘Nürnberg 45 – Im Angesicht des Bösen’ has been awarded the ‘Blauer Panther – TV & Streaming Award’ in the category of ‘Best Docudrama’. Producers Michael Souvignier and Till Derenbach received the honor for the production’s cinematic staging and dense dramaturgy.

Produced by NDR, the film depicts the events surrounding the Nuremberg Trials through the perspectives of two young Auschwitz survivors: German journalist Ernst Michel and a Polish author. The production aims to engage younger audiences with historical themes of democracy, human rights, and the dangers of totalitarian ideologies through a modern narrative style and the integration of archival material with scripted scenes.
