Nürnberger Burg-Pokal 2026 Dressage Returns to Elmlohe

The 75th edition of the Elmlohe tournament will host the 2026 NÜRNBERGER Burg‑Pokal from 22 April to 26 April. The event features elite dressage competition, a final qualification round for young dressage horses, and a Burg‑Pokal drive‑sleigh contest for the youngest riders. Junior riders will contest the U18 final on Friday, followed by the main Burg‑Pokal qualifiers on Saturday and the final stage on Sunday, with the top twelve pairs earning a spot in the Frankfurt Festhalle later in the year.

A star‑studded field includes three‑time champion Dorothee Schneider, two‑time winner Isabel Freese, two‑time champion Charlott‑Maria Schürmann and Olympic medalist Helen Langehanenberg. Last year’s title was claimed by Charlott‑Maria Schürmann riding Life Time FRH. The competition is a key fixture in the German dressage calendar and leads into the national finals in Frankfurt.
