Národní rozvojová investiční invests 94 million CZK in Ukraine Fund

Národní rozvojová investiční (NRI) has selected DEPO Ventures One SCSp as the fund manager for the ‘Fond Ukrajina’ program. Through this venture capital fund, NRI is providing an initial investment of 94 million CZK to support the development of startups from Ukraine, Moldova, and Georgia that intend to expand their business activities within the Czech Republic.

The operational agreement allows for the possibility of increasing NRI’s investment up to 141 million CZK. This increase is contingent upon the fund securing a specified amount of private capital and reaching minimum investment volume targets within a set period.

The program, established in cooperation with the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade, aims to strengthen the Czech Republic’s competitiveness by integrating international talent and modern technologies with the country’s industrial base. By acting as a bridge to private capital, the initiative seeks to attract high-value research, development, and business activities to the region.
