NSCDC honors Mining Marshals Commander Attah John Onoja

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has awarded Assistant Commandant of Corps (ACC) Attah John Onoja, Commander of the Mining Marshals, for his meritorious service to the nation.

Commandant General Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Audi presented the award during the National Armourers’ Retreat and Symposium in Abuja. The recognition highlights Onoja’s role in leading the specialized unit to combat illegal mining, mineral theft, and economic crimes targeting Nigeria’s solid minerals sector.

Prof. Audi noted that the award recognizes Onoja’s professionalism and commitment to safeguarding the nation’s natural resources. In response, ACC Onoja credited the honor to the collective dedication of the officers and men serving within the Mining Marshals unit.
