NSIWC and PTDF partner to boost human capacity building
The National Salaries Income and Wages Commission (NSIWC) has announced a partnership with the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) to focus on human capacity building and training.
During a visit to the PTDF in Abuja, NSIWC Chairman Maj. Gen. Junaid Bindawa (rtd) emphasized the strategic importance of both institutions in human capital development. While the mandates of the two organizations differ, the partnership aims to converge on developing indigenous human and institutional capacity for the petroleum industry.
Key areas of collaboration will include education, research and development, and training interventions designed to build the technical and professional competencies necessary for national development. The NSIWC also noted its role in advising the government on remuneration matters and promoting sustainable salary and wage policies within the public service.
