Nàstic de Tarragona to receive €400,000 from Jan Virgili transfer

Nàstic de Tarragona is set to receive approximately 400,000 euros following the transfer of winger Jan Virgili from RCD Mallorca to Club Brugge. The Belgian club triggered a 12 million euro release clause to secure the player.

Because FC Barcelona retains 40% of the player's economic rights, the Catalan club will receive roughly 4.8 million euros from the transaction. Nàstic, which held a percentage of future sale rights from when Virgili originally left their youth academy, will receive between 8% and 10% of Barcelona's share, totaling nearly 400,000 euros.

This marks the second significant windfall for the Tarragona-based club from Virgili's career progression. In the summer of 2025, Nàstic received approximately 350,000 euros when Mallorca signed the player from Barcelona for 3.5 million euros. In total, these two movements have generated nearly 750,000 euros for Nàstic.
