Néstor Girolami wins TCR South America Race 1 in Posadas

Néstor Girolami won Race 1 of the eighth stage of TCR South America in Posadas, Argentina. Driving a Hyundai Elantra N TCR, Girolami maintained the lead despite early pressure from Brazilian driver Raphael Reis.

The race featured significant incidents, including a collision involving Juan Casella that caused his vehicle to hit a barrier near spectators. This incident triggered a safety car period. Following the restart, Leonel Pernía managed to overtake Raphael Reis in the final minute of the race to secure second place.

The final podium consisted of Néstor Girolami in first, Leonel Pernía in second, and Raphael Reis in third. In the Junior Cup category, Gabryel Romano secured a victory.
