Næstved Metalfest 2026 concludes in Denmark

Næstved Metalfest 2026 took place from August 27th to 29th at the Grønnegades Kaserne Kulturcenter in Næstved, Denmark. The event featured a variety of metal subgenres and was noted for its laid-back, family-like atmosphere.

Performances included sets by Mayhem, which faced a brief interruption due to lightning warnings, and The Gathering, which was highlighted as an exceptional performance. Other notable acts included Týr, Bloodbath, and Troops Of Doom, the latter featuring Frank Blackfire. The festival also showcased international talent such as Greece's Mother of Millions and Sweden's Ambush, alongside several Danish bands including Illdisposed, Mnemic, and Mercenary.
