Mohan Bhagwat warns of regime change efforts targeting India

During the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) annual Vijayadashami celebrations in Nagpur, chief Mohan Bhagwat addressed several national and social issues. He alleged that external forces are attempting to destabilize India through regime change operations, citing recent unrest in countries such as France, Albania, Bangladesh, and Nepal. Bhagwat argued that changing a government does not necessarily resolve a nation's underlying problems and warned that such efforts are often driven by self-interest.

Bhagwat also emphasized the importance of social cohesion, urging protesters and political leaders to act within constitutional limits and focus on finding solutions rather than deepening societal divisions. He called for greater discernment among the youth regarding digital content, specifically mentioning the need for safeguards on OTT platforms. Additionally, he advocated for national unity, suggesting that the national song Vande Mataram should be sung in its entirety.

In a separate development in Delhi, police have registered at least 10 FIRs and arrested five individuals following alleged assaults on protesters demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The incidents, which were highlighted via social media, occurred at Connaught Place and Kamla Market.
