NSW Centre for Menopause and Endometriosis expands services

The NSW Centre for Menopause, Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain at Milton Medical Centre is expanding its services to support women on the South Coast. Originally opened in September 2023 as a specialist service for endometriosis and pelvic pain, the clinic expanded in August 2026 to include dedicated care for perimenopause and menopause.

Run by general practitioners Dr. Katie Macartney and Dr. Sally Carter, the clinic provides diagnostic and treatment plans for conditions that often disrupt patients' health, work, and relationships. Fiona Phillips, the Federal Member for Gilmore, noted the importance of such specialized services for women struggling with long-term pain and uncertainty.
