NSW police arrest man in $250,000 business fraud investigation
Police in New South Wales have conducted several operations targeting fraud and property crime. A major breakthrough involved the arrest of a 45-year-old Dubbo man in Wollongong. He is accused of embezzling more than $250,000 from an automotive parts business based in Queensland. The suspect faces 15 charges, including eight counts of embezzlement and six counts of using false documents.
In a separate incident in Dubbo, a 28-year-old man was charged with larceny and deception after a vehicle break-in led to the fraudulent use of stolen bank cards. Additionally, in Lithgow, an 18-year-old man and two 14-year-old boys were apprehended following the theft and subsequent arson of a Holden utility vehicle.
