NSW Police target outlaw motorcycle gangs in regional weapons and drug raids

NSW Police conducted a three-day law enforcement operation targeting the Bandidos outlaw motorcycle gang and its associates in the Tamworth and Armidale regions. The operation utilized Strike Force Raptor, a specialized unit from Sydney, to execute multiple search warrants and firearms prohibition orders.

During the raids, police seized various weapons, including rifles, an illegal pistol crossbow, and thousands of rounds of ammunition. Drug seizures included cocaine. Five individuals, comprising four men and one woman, were charged in connection with the blitz. Specific arrests included a 26-year-old man in Saumarez Ponds for possession of a prohibited weapon and a 29-year-old woman in Oxley Vale for drug possession.
