NSW woman charged in $3 million Port Stephens drug syndicate
A 59‑year‑old woman, identified as Michelle Wilder, was arrested at East Maitland and charged with participation in a multi‑million‑dollar drug manufacturing and supply operation centred on the Port Stephens area of New South Wales.
Strike Force Korpisalo, created in March 2026 by the State Crime Command’s Drug and Firearms Squad Cannabis Chemical Diversion Team, executed search warrants on 25 June at Salamander Bay and Boat Harbour, seizing about 64 kg of prohibited drugs valued at roughly $2.66 million, along with chemical containers and lab equipment. A subsequent raid at a home in Aberglasslyn recovered 42 g of methylamphetamine and $1,750 cash. The woman was refused bail and is due to appear in court, while two men have already been charged in connection with the ring.
