NTA debars son of NEET-UG paper leak accused for two years

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has debarred Aditya Motegaonkar from appearing in the NEET-UG examination for two years. The decision follows the NEET-UG paper leak investigation involving his father, Shivraj Motegaonkar, a Latur-based coaching centre owner currently in judicial custody.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) alleges that Shivraj Motegaonkar paid Rs 5 lakh to P V Kulkarni, a member of the NTA panel responsible for setting examination questions, to procure chemistry questions. The agency further alleged that Aditya attended Kulkarni’s coaching classes where these questions were provided.

In response to the NTA’s communication, Aditya Motegaonkar denied using any unfair means and questioned why his results from the June 21 retest were withheld. The NTA has officially withheld his previous exam results and declared him ineligible for the 2027 NEET-UG cycle.
