NTD International Piano Competition concludes in New York

The 8th NTD International Piano Competition concluded with an awards ceremony held on September 5 in Manhattan, New York City. The competition, which aims to promote traditional arts, featured performances ranging from the Baroque and Classical periods to the Romantic era.

A special commissioned symphonic poem titled ‘Divine’s Calling,’ rearranged from a vocal piece by a Shen Yun Performing Arts composer, was also featured. Contestants competed for a ‘Best Rendition Award of the Commissioned Composition’ based on this piece.

Key award winners include: • Gold Award: Vitalii Khairutdinov (Russia) • Silver Award: Elzbieta Bilicka (Poland) • Bronze Award: Francis Lien (Taiwan) • Best Rendition of Commissioned Composition: Khoi Luu (Vietnam) • Outstanding Performance Awards: Ching-Yi Lin (Taiwan), Joseph Gallwas (USA), and Pusheng Wang (China).
