NTSA summons nine PSV operators over safety concerns
The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has summoned nine public service vehicle (PSV) operators following the identification of serious safety concerns in their operations. The summons follows a recent crackdown on public transport vehicles conducted in collaboration with the National Police Service and other stakeholders to ensure roadworthiness.
Moyale Transporters Company is scheduled to appear before the Authority on September 3. The remaining eight operators—including Manchester Travellers Coach Limited, Etams Classic Limited, Eastern Link Travellers Company Limited, Lake Naivasha Maii-Mahiu Line Service Limited, Sabaki Travellers Saving and Cred Co-operative Society Limited, Lumasa County Sacco, Bluemarks Shuttles Sacco Limited, and Nyamira Luxury Express Company Limited—are required to attend on September 8.
