NTT and McLaren Racing agree to multi-year F1 partnership

NTT and McLaren Racing have reached an agreement for NTT to become an official partner of the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team starting from the 2027 season. This multi-year partnership aims to leverage NTT’s technological expertise to support McLaren’s goal of becoming the most proficiently AI-driven team on the F1 grid.

The collaboration will focus on AI security and governance, helping the team manage the security risks associated with rapidly evolving AI technologies. By establishing frameworks for responsible AI use, the companies intend to accelerate innovation while maintaining safety standards.

This agreement builds upon a long-standing relationship between the two organizations, which has previously included collaborations through NTT Communications and NTT DATA with various McLaren racing entities. Beyond technical support, the partnership will include global engagement programs to demonstrate the impact of NTT’s technology to fans and stakeholders both on and off the circuit.
