NTT DATA and Google Cloud expand partnership to scale agentic AI

NTT DATA announced an expanded collaboration with Google Cloud aimed at moving companies from AI pilots to enterprise‑wide deployments. The partnership will create a dedicated Gemini Enterprise practice, with a goal to certify 5,000 engineers worldwide and develop a roadmap for up to 500 AI agents for both horizontal and sector‑specific use cases.

The joint effort targets industries such as banking, insurance, manufacturing and retail, offering co‑innovated engineering teams, forward‑deployed engineers and support for sovereign, secure AI that meets data‑residency and compliance requirements. By combining Google Cloud’s AI, data and cloud platform with NTT DATA’s global delivery scale and industry expertise, the program seeks to accelerate AI integration, improve productivity and ensure responsible use of the technology.
