NTT DATA and Palo Alto Networks partner on AI security
NTT DATA and Palo Alto Networks have entered into a multi-year global strategic partnership aimed at securing artificial intelligence systems and expanding managed security services. The collaboration seeks to generate a combined revenue of $1 billion by 2029.
The partnership integrates Palo Alto Networks’ cybersecurity technologies, including the Unit 42 threat analysis team, with NTT DATA’s technical advisory and engineering resources. Over 2,000 certified specialists will support the implementation of these solutions. The initiative focuses on addressing security risks introduced by the rapid rise of AI, such as more sophisticated cyberattacks and the increased complexity of securing autonomous AI agents.
Initial services will target highly regulated sectors, including finance, healthcare, industrial industries, and the public sector. Key areas of focus include autonomous Security Operations Centers (SOC), AI governance, identity protection, Zero Trust models, SASE, and cloud security. The collaboration aims to help organizations modernize their digital infrastructure while maintaining robust security postures against evolving threats.
