NTT Docomo adds 10 GB to ahamo and docomo mini plans

Starting on 1 August 2026, NTT Docomo will launch a "Data Increase Trial Campaign" for users of its ahamo and docomo mini services. The promotion adds 10 GB of data at no extra charge and requires no sign‑up: ahamo’s monthly allowance rises from 30 GB to 40 GB, while docomo mini’s 4 GB plan becomes 6 GB and its 10 GB plan becomes 12 GB. The increase is applied automatically to existing customers and remains in effect while the subscription continues; the campaign’s end date has not been set and usage will revert to the original limits afterward.

The company says the initiative is intended to observe how larger data caps affect user behavior and to collect feedback through surveys, using the insights to improve future services and offerings.
