NTT Docomo Business and ExaWizards launch closed AI agent service

NTT Docomo Business and ExaWizards have announced the launch of a ‘closed AI agent’ service, scheduled to begin on August 17, 2026. The service is designed to allow companies to utilize AI agents securely by processing sensitive data, such as technical blueprints and customer information, within a dedicated, closed network environment.

The solution will be available in both private cloud and on-premises versions. By utilizing the ‘exaBase Studio’ development platform and NTT’s ‘tsuzumi 2’ large language model—which is optimized for the Japanese language—the environment ensures that business data and prompts are not transmitted to external AI services. The on-premises option specifically supports ‘sovereign AI’ by allowing companies to manage the entire infrastructure, from hardware to the AI foundation, within their own domestic environments.

NTT Docomo Business will handle the construction, operation, maintenance, and security management of the environment. Moving forward, the two companies plan to expand their lineup of industry-specific AI agents and strengthen governance functions to address threats like prompt injection.
