NTT Urban Development to renew Hiroshima Pacela commercial facility
NTT Urban Development is set to renew the Pacela commercial facility in Hiroshima City, starting with the opening of a large-scale Yamada Denki flagship store on November 6. Spanning six floors and approximately 12,000 square meters, the Yamada Denki Hiroshima Main Store will feature experiential zones for home appliances, a dedicated cooking appliance section with tastings, and a gaming and toy area. It will also host Yamada Live Hiroshima Studio, the company’s second live streaming studio in Japan.
Further renovations are planned through 2027. Upcoming additions include a Takara Tomy Planet indoor play park on the 8th floor, a large-scale capsule toy specialty store, and a Hoshino Coffee shop. The facility will also expand its service offerings with a shared office space and a correspondence high school campus scheduled to open in 2027.
