Nu BCN transitions to Mediterranean cuisine in Barcelona

Nu BCN, a restaurant formerly known as Nubay and Nubar, has undergone a significant culinary rebranding. Moving away from its previous focus on Oriental cuisine, the establishment has pivoted to a Mediterranean menu.

The new, more concise menu features approximately twelve appetizers, six classics, six raw dishes, and four meat options. Featured items include liquid bull tail and shrimp croquettes, grilled artichokes, seasonal tomatoes, crispy prawns, roasted leeks, Gouthier nº 3 oysters, and Cantabrian anchovies.

Designed by interior designer Estrella Salietti, the venue offers a sophisticated atmosphere with dim lighting, metallic bulb-style lamps, and large mirrors. The space includes various environments, ranging from intimate settings to an expansive terrace suitable for autumn evenings.
